Kelly T. Gonzalez is the managing attorney of KTG Law Group LLC. Since 2011, Attorney Gonzalez has represented school district clients in all aspects of education law. Her experience includes labor and employment matters, student discipline, special education, collective bargaining, statutory and grievance arbitrations, proceedings before state administrative agencies, and civil litigation in both state and federal courts, including the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court, and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Attorney Gonzalez serves as General Counsel for the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents (M.A.S.S.). She has served as a featured speaker at several conferences and frequently makes presentations at statewide and regional conferences with superintendents, school business administrators and school committees. Attorney Gonzalez has also published a variety of articles.
Before focusing on school law, Attorney Gonzalez practiced civil litigation for six years as an associate in the Boston office of Goodwin Procter LLP. While in law school, she served as an editor of the Boston College Law Review and interned for the Honorable Francis Spina of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and the Honorable R. Marc Kantrowitz of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
Attorney Gonzalez is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston College Law School (J.D., 2005), a cum laude graduate of Duke University (B.A., 2000), and an honors graduate from Phillips Academy Andover.
She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Gonzalez is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and Massachusetts Council of School Attorneys.
